Manifesting, The Law Of Attraction & Spirituality

I see the prevalence of information on manifesting and the law of attraction as evidence of some upward movement in the collective consciousness of humanity.
The belief in, and practicing of manifesting can free us in our understanding of, and interaction with life. It can empower us to realize choice over victimhood and open the potential of our creative interaction with life.
However it is just one step up and if only used to gratify our egoic desires it will not evolve us very much further. Indeed it is possible it will entrench us deeper in maya albeit with better skills to play there.
Understood more deeply the law of attraction becomes
a model for living liberation. Ultimately the stream of life only flows in one direction, the evolution of consciousness.
We are each individuated manifestations of consciousness and our evolution is our spiritual process. We are in any given moment in the flow of life as consciousness evolving – our spiritual process, or in resistance to it. There are no other positions.
Spiritual practices are means of letting go where we are in resistance. Our resistance is where and how we create and maintain separation. This is the underlying structure of the egoic mind, and what the egoic mind does to maintain its existence.
When we identify with the egoic mind as self, then our resistance becomes invisible to us, in fact we perceive it as us, our opinions, beliefs and judgements. Naturally then, without the development of increasing self awareness our ability to manifest and use the law of attraction becomes an extension of the manipulative tendency of the egoic minds relationship with life.
A second dimension then of spiritual practices is the increasing development of self awareness. With self awareness we begin to recognize the patterns of our resistance and understand what hold them in place.
Ideally a spiritual practice will also give us the means of letting go of the holding, and move us into the flow of consciousness evolving.

I don’t think the law of attraction is spiritual in and of itself. However, I believe it can become spiritual if we use it for spiritual purposes such as using the LOA to serve a Higher purpose of live our personal calling.

I am saying that the law of attraction is spiritual in it’s nature – because it is the mechanism through which life brings us reflections of our unresolved, unhealed and incomplete past – our karma. It is in operation all the time because life itself is the spiritual process of consciousness evolving, as us, through us.
What is commonly talked of as the LOA is actually a conscious use of the principle of the LOA, and in application is spiritual or not depending on the intent of its use.
